Should you wish to have something a bit more premium then these component speakers are even better than Pioneer TS-H1703,

Rainbow EL-C6.2 Component Door Speakers come with two mid woofers for the front doors, two tweeters for the higher frequencies and crossovers ensure the correct frequencies are going to the correct speakers. They'll be fitted in the factory locations, which for the woofers is obviously doors and for the tweeters it'll be the dash board top corners on the transporter t5 and A-pillars on the newer T6.

2MM Silent coat sound deadening, what does it do? It takes everyday vibrations and converts them into low level heat allowing you to enjoy your audio a little louder without the vibrations from your door panels. On the T5 and T6, once we get factory speakers out, we are able to cover approx 50% of outer door skin with 2mm silent coat and an extra two sheets can be applied on to the inner panel that speaker is mounted to. The price quoted includes three sheets of 2mm Sound Deadening from Silent coat. If you wish to upgrade to Dynamat or add more than the quoted amount please let us know and we will be happy to fit it for you.

One last thing we should mention is the head unit, there's a massive improvement in upgrading the OEM VW radio to an aftermarket version such as a Kenwood or Pioneer. The OEM head units are not brilliant when it comes to sound quality, in fact this is the case for the majority of vehicle manufacturers.
