If your VW T5 Transporter came with a plastic steering wheel, it definitely needs replacing with something better :/  We can retrofit a leather multifunction steering wheel. Once Your New Multifunction steering wheel has been fitted. You can use the multifunction buttons to operate your car's audio system, the multifunction display and the navigation system (if fitted) while keeping both hands on the wheel.

If Your Volkswagen Transporter T5 doesn't have MFD( Driver Information System), we will retrofit it at the same time at no extra cost, the MFD Retrofit is included and comes with your new MFSW.

If you own a 2010 manufactured VW T5.1 please contact us for more details regarding the MFD as on some early T5.1 it is a bit more tricky to get Multi function buttons working with the MFD.

If your van DOES have the MFD and r/h/s stalk with RESET and TRIP buttons, ideally the stalk will need replacing to retain the factory look. 
If your vehicle had the MFSW fitted from factory then it wouldn't have these extra buttons on the R/H stalk. If they were to be left functioning they will interfere with the new Multi function steering wheel. The cost of the new R/H stalk with out trip buttons on will be £85 + vat. As an alternative we can disconnect them at no extra cost. There are two versions of this stalk, one for T5 vans with rear wiper and another for vehicles with out the rear wiper. We will make sure you get the correct one 🙂
